HOW TO SUBMIT SITEMAP XML IN BLOGGER - LEARN STEP BY STEP STEPS

Now a days Google will create Sitemap Automatically from blog root directory. So process of generating sitemap is over and process has been done easily. Only we have to submit the XML to Google Webmaster Tools and BingWebmaster Tools. Sitemaps will be create under this URLs.

Step 1 - New Blogger Sitemap XML

• Blogger – Default URL : http://www.yourblog.blogspot.com/sitemap.xml
• Blogger – Custom URL : http://www.yourblog.com/sitemap.xml

default sitemaps will automatically creates on above URLs and added to default robots.txt file. So we don’t have to add it manually.

Step 2 – add sitemap to Google and Bing Webmaster Tools.

• Login to your Google Webmaster Tools, add or select your blog in the list.
• On the left side click on Crawl, then Sitemaps, then Add/Test Sitemap.

• In the textbox paste sitemap.xml or type it and click on Test Sitemap
• If Testing will complete successfully then click on submit button.

Google will check and index your blog or Site regularly. You can check which pages or post is indexed in the Google webmaster tools.

• To submit your blog/site to Bing, login to Bing WebmasterTools. Add your URL, Verify Ownership of Blog and then submit your sitemap. It will make few days for site indexing.
